As a follow on from our previous blog on the creative industries in Northern Ireland here are a few of the spaces and places currently championing, supporting and showcasing the Creative Industries in Northern Ireland from tech to theatre, fashion & music and everything in between.
BLICK STUDIOS HILL STREET
BLICK STUDIOS
Our own creative spaces in Belfast’s Queens Quarter and Cathedral Quarter and Eighty81 in Ebrington Square in Derry/Londonderry offer co-working space, private studios, meeting and events space for the creative industries and we also run a variety of events, workshops, courses and programs to support and celebrate the creative industries in Northern Ireland.
FARSET LABS
Farset Labs is a place for creativity and technological tinkering. Open to everyone, they welcome people from all walks of life to use their space, attend their events, and get involved with the maker community in Northern Ireland
ACCIDENTAL THEATRE
Accidental Theatre co-run a shared theatre in Belfast's Shaftesbury Square & also create their own projects as an independent company.
STUDIO SOUK
Studio Souk is based in the heart of the city centre and features shared studio space for creative entrepreneurs and retail space that showcases local designers and makers.
BLACK BOX BELFAST
Black Box Belfast is a multi-purpose arts venue and organisation. Black Box regularly hosts a variety of events including live music, theatre, literature, comedy, film, visual art, science, circus, cabaret and more as well as programming their own arts events and activities.

Boom! Studios provides creative workspace and head-space in Bangor County Down
MADE IN MOURNE
Made in Mourne is a Creative Hub in the heart of the Mournes in Kilkeel County Down. They support talented local creatives and showcase their work.
BELFAST BANKERS
Belfast Bankers is a Creative Hub in East Belfast for artists and creatives.
THE NERVE CENTRE
The Nerve Centre based in Derry/Londonderry is Northern Ireland’s leading creative media arts centre. More than 120,000 people a year benefit from the Nerve Centre’s wide-ranging programme of arts events, cutting edge projects, creative learning centres, training opportunities, and state-of-the-art production facilities.
FABLAB
FabLab (fabrication laboratory) is a fabrication workshop which gives everyone in the community from young children through to entrepreneurs, schools and established businesses, the capability to turn their ideas and concepts into reality. Using open source design software and a selection of computer controlled machines, users can design and make almost anything.
ORMEAU BATHS
Ormeau Baths is a tech co-working space based out of an historic former bath house in the heart of Belfast.

Art and design shop based in Ulster University's Belfast Campus, providing a platform for the emerging talent of Ulster University's creative students
FASHION & TEXTILES HUB
The Fashion and Textile Design Centre was set up to support newly graduated designers, established designers and SME’s in the Fashion and Textile industry of Derry ~ Londonderry and the North West of Ireland.
